Anatomivia

Privacy

You play Anatomivia without an account, and playing tells us nothing about who you are. This page says what the game keeps on your device, what reaches anyone else, and where we stand on children and classrooms.

The short version

What stays on your device

So that the game remembers you tomorrow, it keeps three small entries in your browser's local storage, for this site only:

Today's game, an_daily
The day, whether you have started and finished it, and one mark for each try: how close a wrong guess came, a zoom-out, or the right answer. The words you typed are not kept. Only one day is held; the next day's game replaces it.
Your statistics, an_stats
How many days you have played and won, how many tries each win took, and the last day counted. No day's answer is kept.
Your streak, an_streak
Your current and best streak, the last day you finished, and the day a missed day was last let off (one missed day a week does not end a streak).

None of this is sent to us or to anyone else, and it does not follow you to another browser or device. Clearing this site's data in your browser erases it. A private window may keep nothing, or forget it when it closes; the game still plays.

The site's owner has two more entries, an_admin and an_unmask, on their own devices only, for a testing view that visitors do not see. A visitor's browser never holds them.

Children and classrooms

Anatomivia is an anatomy game for a general audience, and students and teachers are welcome to use it. This is our position on children's privacy.

Who else is involved

Removing your data

Anatomivia keeps no record of any player, so there is nothing for us to remove. Everything the game remembers sits in your own browser; clearing this site's data there erases it.

Changes

If this page changes, the date below changes with it.
